Sikilia Catering LLC started as a pastry company in 2010. Our first offerings were Italian traditional almond desserts. The company expanded into catering in 2011 and now offers authentic Sicilian and Italian dishes for events ranging from small dinner parties to weddings.

Lina Pulitano – Waddell Chef and Owner of Sikilia Catering LLC was born and raised in Tremestieri Etneo, a village on Mount Etna in Sicily.
As a teenager she worked in her parents business, “Bar Fisichella” during the summer months. Here she helped create Sicilian delicacies like la tavola calda (arancini, pizzette etc), pasticcini (pastries), and her parents’ signature Gelato and Granita.
She moved to Arizona in 1986 and soon discovered that the things she had grown up with and taken for granted were not available. Throughout the years she had embarked on various home-based businesses; she’s made homemade pasta for an upscale restaurant in Scottsdale and managed her own catering business “La Spiga”.
She took a leave of absence to raise her two boys Scotty and Alex but continued to cook and cater for family and friends while promoting her beloved land.
Her passion for traditional Sicilian food was still not satisfied. With her husband Scott’s support, she created “Sikilia”, as a tribute to her native land’s regional cuisine and the traditional almond dessert. The passion was realized, at last!
I have been lucky to have Lina’s cooking on numerous occasions and it is amazing. She offers catering for intimate dinners with friends and families, for small parties, and large events. Her cooking is homemade and beats any Italian restaurant. The delivery service is on time and Lina and her staff are beyond friendly and enjoyable to work with. Always a hit at parties
Lina at Sikilia has catered for two Christmas Work functions and one smaller dinner party for me.
The food that Lina produces is flavorful, prepared to perfection and the presentation is a work of art.
I suffer from Celiac disease and Lina always prepares Gluten free recipes for me. The dishes she prepares gluten free are equally as tasty. My favorite dish is her Chicken Marsala.
I would recommend Lina to anyone and be 100 confident that they, like me will love the food she lovingly prepares.
